Phillip Campo Accounting is a family accounting business focused on tax and bookkeeping services, founded by Phillip Campo in 2016. While the office is based in southern Louisiana, location is no limitation for Phillip Campo Accounting! Current clientele are located from California to New Jersey and abroad to Qatar and Italy!

As the youngest son of the late J. Thomas ("Tom") Campo, who owned a very successful tax and bookkeeping business for more than 30 years, Phillip retired in 2014 after 20 years of service in the United States Air Force and decided to switch gears and follow in his father's footsteps. Many of Tom’s clients knew that Phillip would be joining the business and learning the ropes with the goal of taking over the family business. Unfortunately, Tom passed away less than 2 months after Phillip moved to Houma.

After more than a year of creating relationships with all of the clients and receiving such great feedback from everyone, the new owner of Tom Campo Accounting had different plans than what Tom wanted and closed the business without any warning in January of 2016. Phillip wanted nothing more than to honor his father by starting his own family accounting and bookkeeping company modeled after Tom and the legacy he had in the community and with his work product. While the family business transition did not occur as expected, Phillip continued Tom's legacy by maintaining client relationships and expanding the client base while providing the same top-notch service Tom was known for.

Phillip has continued many of Tom's client relationships while forging new paths and expanding clientele. He makes every effort to handle various problems clients have had at reasonable prices since the company's inception.

Phillip's daughter, Morgan Campo, has become an integral part of the family business.
